For a scholarship. Yes, it is sad. But, money makes the world go round. It makes me go round. (Alright, that doesn't make any sense, but whatever. Actually, you use money to buy food, and then when you eat a lot of food, you "go round.")

So, changes that will I implement as of now:

Instead of just writing of things that are happening to me, I will be regularly be posting opinions about things from anime to zoos.

I will be posting something AT LEAST once a week. Actually, this is more of a blog-preservation rule for myself.

Now I will begin.

I started this blog when I was a cute little freshman, still innocent, sheltered from the harsh realities of the world. Now, I am not so innocent, and would rather be sheltered than be exposed ("ignorance is bliss"). Reading the past posts have made me laugh, and now I think of how silly I was. However, I do find some truths in my observations, and from evaluating myself now, I think I've been brain-washed. But these days, instead of complaining and contemplating about how horrible being in the middle of nowhere is, I am now past that and have begun scheming to escape El Dorado Hills, the middle of nowhere. Whoa, now what is in this plan???

Apply to colleges that are outside the 100-mile radius of El Dorado Hills.

Accept the college that is situated in whatever city or town that is the most opposite of "the middle of nowhere.

Appease my parents by hoarding money in order for me to persuade them that I can live on my own.

ESCAPE.

Now, number three is the most problematic. This is because I don't see myself hoarding money to pay for school. In fact, I throw money everywhere, from things like glass-encased geisha dolls and defective neon-green silicone watches. Also, this year of high school is the most expensive, because of the $100 yearbooks, prom, senior shirts, club fees, college app fees, and other endeavors that will cost a lot of money. And I don't have a job. Because I was beaten to them by those of the large pool of jobless high school students who applied into a relatively small job market.

But, there is a solution: scholarships. And there is this one particular scholarship I am aiming for, one where I have to basically write an essay IN this blog. But, the chances of me being chosen will be very low if they find me to be some uncaring and manipulative girl who just wants money so she starts her dusty-and-untouched-for-years blog. But I am not this heartless. I volunteered in libraries and helped little kids. Also, I find myself lazing around these days, so I need stuff to do. So the outlet of opinion this blog will be, will contribute to the stimulation of my neurons and will hopefully help the boredom that was born when I moved here, in the middle of nowhere.

SPRING BREAK!!

Judging from the title, you can tell that I am excited about spring break. For one, there hasn't been a vacation from school for quite a while now, and it has been kind of dull and tiring without one. The only bad thing about it, is that there is STAR testing after that week, so I basically have to study during the whole break. In addition, I have to do HOMEWORK, which is never fun, which includes this idiotic P.E. homework where I have to run 2.5 miles or for 25 minutes somewhere. The thing with that is that I have to have my parents sign the piece of paper to prove that I ran; I can't have them fake that either, because I'd have to print a map of the route I went through, and describe my surroundings while I ran -_- . I also have piles of worksheets to do, and lots of paragraphs to type, so I'm not exactly happy about all of that.

Technically, today isn't spring break yet, it's Friday, but I figured that I should post something now before I forget to later. Anyhow, I'll go over all of the happenings that have happened since the post before this one.

Well remember last post when I kept mentioning about some guy who I liked? Bad news: he has a girlfriend, which totally saddened the next few days. I even wrote half a sonnet about it. For now, I am not really sad because, I thought, you never know, I might have some kind of chance with the person.

I GOT AN A ON MY 180 QUESTION ECOLOGY TEST!!!! Took me a whole period, a nutrition break, and a lunch period to finish the whole freaking thing! The thing that made me the happiest was that alot of the smart kids got a lower grade than I did ^^;.

I CAN SURVIVE RUNNING 2.5 MILES! I CAN EVEN RUN A MILE NOW WITHOUT GETTING TOO TIRED! I thought that I would somehow have a heart attack during those freaking runs, but I survived!

SHOPPING IS FUN! Seriously, it is. I don't mean to be a girly-girl right now, but it REALLY is fun. Especially when there's a huge sale and you have all the time in the world to be in the store, so you can try out everything!

     For future events:

Well of course, there's Spring Break.

My step-aunt, uncle, and cousin are coming over, which is good, considering that nothing has really been going on for the past month.

My youngest sister's 1st birthday is coming up, which is even BETTER because alot of my family will come over, and nowadays, I never see any family (HA, well I live REALLY far from all of them).

Well that's it for now. Until next time!

P.S. COMMENT! Or else...well nothing, but it won't hurt to comment right?

Happy Spring! (For real this time)

I've realized that my last post, when I titled it "Happy Spring!", it wasn't even spring yet, so now, it actually is spring, so I guess it would be appropriate to title it that. Anyway, the rest of the month has been pretty okay; there hasn't been a break at school yet, but spring break will be on next next week. For now, I have been just going on routinely with school and such. I will break down what's happened so far chronologically:

Well, the female part of my P.E. class had to do self-defense as I had already mentioned in my last post. The dreaded day came when I had to duel a mock-rapist with my eyes closed. The worst part was watching the other girls go through it, which was strange because they seemed terrified at first, until after the fight, where they felt extremely excited and somehow forgot their fear. At my turn, Jonathan, the other guy who would mock-rape the next class after mine, gave me some guidelines about the duel, like, getting the choke off my neck, and using my legs to get Gary (the guy who was gonna fight me) off of me, and also reminded me that I represented the Asians (I thought, "WHAT ASIANS?!", seeing that there was no other Asian in the class except for me). I don't remember much, but the fight ended really quickly; I remember being pushed down to the ground and I somehow kicked him so hard that he flipped over (!). I think that's my glory moment of the month, because all of the girls were amazed by that, and I felt (and still do!) that I can pretty much beat up any guy out there.
Now, P.E. is pretty much torture, because the unit is now RUNNING, and believe me, I SUCK at running. Next Tuesday, I have to run 2 1/2 miles!!! OMG! I just hate it! I get so tired, and it's a horrible feeling. If I ever was sent to hell (and I'm pretty sure I won't be), that would be my hell. On the bright side, we don't run ALL period long (an hour and 45 minutes of running? I would get a freaking heart attack by then!), so we also play pickleball (OMG, REMEMBER?! Well, it's for you guys who went to Vallejo Mill). Unfortunately, my skills have been rusty, so I pretty much suck at it. I think I only like P.E. because there's a certain someone in that class that I kind of like... I won't write any more details about that, so you'll have to ask me about that later.

Well this past month, I have been carefully spying for my friend, like how side characters would in a shoujo manga. I have also been spying on the person I like (more like stalking), and it just seems to take over my mind these days. Some advice for you readers, DON'T LIKE PEOPLE YOU WON'T GET WITH. It's really all nice and good-feeling in the beginning, but when you think about the future, it is really depressing.

I am quite excited for Spring Break, since it would give me some time to catch up on sleep, but I would have to painfully study for STAR testing then, since it will occur immediately after. Oh, and remember the Fall Out Boy Concert that was going to happen at my school? Well, in the end, they are not really going to preform at my school, but to some place in Sacramento, and only the first 200 people from my school will get to watch it. So, overall, it was just hype, and I am quite disappointed in how they arranged this. I'm not going to go to the concert now, so I am kind of sad about it, but it's not really affecting my life drastically or anything like that.
Also, the little piggy I was making earlier during the month is almost done! It has all four legs now and one ear, one twisty tail, and a stuffed body! All I need to add is the other ear, its eyes, and of course, the snout.
I am also deciding to write a sonnet (which is kind of hard, but I like a challenge), because I want to, and I have nothing better to do nowadays but continue the monotonous routine of going to school and doing homework then going to bed. The sonnet will be romantic, but I don't really know what I'll do.

Well, I don't really know what else to write here. I'm going to end the post for now, because NOBODY posted a comment on the last post! PEOPLE! I FEEL SO UNCARED FOR! *sigh* It's okay, you people probably don't even read the blog anymore. T_T UNTIL NEXT TIME!

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mo-chan-inthemiddleofnowhere.blogspot.com/2009/03/happy-spring-for-real-this-time.html' title='Happy Spring! Well, I haven't exactly watched the sun break through the clouds dramatically yet, but hopefully that will come around this week or maybe next. I mean during the 1st day of March, I experienced heavy rains and really strong winds (about 2 times my umbrella did not shade me from the rain because the wind was actually strong enough to flip the umbrella inside-out-ish). Anyhow, I shall start out the post by highlighting the events that occurred after my last post.

Let's see... Well, my step-grandparents came over. I can't say it was that great to have them over, it is a little considering that I don't really have to watch over my sisters as much. It's kinda awkward too, to be around them, since we're not exactly related, and sometimes I am confused about if they're trying to be polite and nice to me, or if they are genuinely nice people. On the other hand, school has been okay. And I still am a horrible procrastinator, especially for project. i don't remember, I think it was about 2-3 weeks ago, but I had to write a HUGE report on evolution. It took me 6 hours of my Sunday to write 12 pages. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't really due the next day, it was actually due in 2 days! I was so angry for staying up late... plus, the majority of the people in my Bio class wrote about 20-30 pages worth of report! On other matters, I have also taken up crocheting (Yeah, I thought it was knitting, but I didn't know the difference! C'mon, there's a needle, and some string...). Currently, I am knitting a stuffed piggie (the kind called amigurumi). The next thing that I have to do for it is stuff it and put its eyes on. Suprisingly, crocheting is really easy, you should try doing it, it is quite addicting. Furthermore, I have also developed a new love of the band, Coldplay. Most of their music is not your cliche pop or rock, and definitely not hip-hop or rap, but they have alot of piano-y and guitar-y music. Most of the time, there is not a lot of singing in the songs, except maybe for a few of them.

On another note, I actually wrote this post over a period of 3 days, because during the first two days, I only had about 15 minutes to write anything and it usually takes me about 2 hours to write a post... Anyhow today, which is the third day of this time period, I had to learn self-defense techniques and moves against potential sexual predators o.o It is kind of scary actually, and to prove that, there was a guest instructor that came to my class. In the beginning of the lecture, he unexpectedly and surprisingly ATTACKED the girl he was demonstrating some moves on. The girl flew 12 feet from where she originally stand and was on the ground! I was SO scared, I got a little teary-eyed! Well, the attacks did not end there. We were told to try some moves on our partners, but my friend, Natalie, was tying her shoe and I was waiting, until suddenly, he ATTACKED me too! I, being mostly terrified and knew was being tested, of course, broke away from the choke (the chokes made here are not fake), but he gave me some advice on not turning away from the predator after escaping. On the other hand, I also was VERY angry about a couple of weeks ago, because on American Idol, one of my favorites was so close to getting to the top 3, but did not go...so I would have to wait for the Wild Card week and hope that the judges choose him. By the way, his nickname on the show was Anup (or is it Anoop?) - Dawg. If he gets in, VOTE FOR HIM!

On the other hand, I am going to start a section in my posts where I address/answer your comments. Let's see...last comment was from Michaela:

@ "Your life reminds me of a high school novel."- Well, it's not really... I mean I guess the new people and all kind of remind me of it, but I don't think it's exiting enough to really be written about in a high school novel =/

@ "Do you have any interesting friends or been attacked by gross guys? I'm really curious about what the people you know now are like"- Okay, well let's see... interesting friends? I am not going to name any names here, but I will just briefly describe them. Well, one of them is really kind, smart, and pretty. But she has a crazy side too, which I find much more fun to be with. She can be amazingly boy-crazy and sometimes embarrasses herself in front of them ^^;. The other friend is really silly and very outgoing and talks a lot, and not to mention very loudly (like in a library full of quiet people). For other people, I can't really say. I'm not a very social person, and I don't really try to get to know people I'm not interested in, so what you could say is that I really don't know anyone... As for boys, I just see some, and most are okay, some are very good-looking.

Now, for future events... next weekend I'm visiting San Jose to see my step-grandparents off to the Philippines... I think that would be about it for this March because spring break would be around April I believe. Maybe more events would pop up, but this would be it for now. Well, I think it is time for me to end this post for now. Please comment, and I shall reply in some way either directly with the comment, or on the next post =3.

Yo~

It's been about 2 months (?) since I wrote anything, and I'm really sorry if you were following this blog and weren't seeing any new posts ^^; Well I am now writing a new post, and I will write the new stuff that is going on and the old stuff that happened but had no time to write.

December- I think my last post was written in this month...I'm a little too lazy to check now... Anyway, this is where Christmas and presents happened. My mother visited me from Florida by driving (1,500 miles!), and we had lots of fun and ate out and shopped and all of that good stuff you do with your mom. Also, I had to visit some stepfamily around the 25th to celebrate the holiday and open presents. As for presents, I didn't get much. I mean I didn't really expect much, but I kinda hoped for more. Well I guess getting less presents is the effect of getting older =( , before you know it, I might be the one running around Black Friday buying the presents. Shall I tell of some of the presents I got? Well I got this board game called "The Settlement of Catan"; it's this really complicated game that takes "15 minutes to learn" (that said on the back of the box, but it really takes an hour or two with idiotic people like me). I also got a bunch of money, which I had spent 3/4 of buying project supplies for school on January -_-.

January- Of course, the new year came, and there was much drinking involved (no worries, I had cider ^^;). And you know when people watch TV and watch the countdown (we watched the one at Central Park in NY)? Well most people during this time of year would count down along with them, but we were so preoccupied with toasting wine glasses, that we did the countown 10 seconds after the official new year -_-; . During this month, I mostly went with the flow of school, and that kind of boring stuff. And there was also the matter of one of my friends getting a boyfriend... well, none of the rest of us really liked him... at least I didn't like him. In the end, they eventually broke up because the guy only really went out with her because he wanted to have (s-e-x) with her. Right now, they are back together; she is blinded by love I'm guessing, or she really wanted to have a date during winter ball (Yes, there is a winter ball in February; No, I'm not going).

Now it is February, 5th to be exact. I have a bunch of worries in my hands, homework mostly because it is EVIL. I have a couple of projects due soon, and I'm gonna have to work on them. One of them actually involves me interviewing 20 people and asking them personal questions you don't want to ask people usually like, "What do you notice in a potential romantic partner?" and stuff like that -_-; Also, there is the matter of Winter Ball, and I AM NOT GOING, because that is all hype, and besides, there is talk of an Anti-Winter Ball (^^) and I hope to go if there really is one that will happpen. For now, I guess the month will go by quickly; nothing exciting has really been going on with me; that stuff usually happens to my friends. Well I shall be leaving for now; I hope I doesn't take me another 2 months to have the will to post a new post... Bye!

P.S. PLEASE FREAKING COMMENT! Thanks ^^.

Super New Update! (gasp!)

First of all, sorry for not posting or chatting with any of you. I have been preoccupied with school and other things, like my new love for a video game. It doesn't mean that I have forgotten any of you, in fact I miss you guys A LOT and are always in my thoughts (and prayers) everyday. Anyhow, here's the important part: I AM BACK.

Let's start with the weather. The weather is COLD. If you've read the previous post, you will remember that I have constantly complained about the hot weather. Well now it's cold. At night, it's like 40F and during the day, it is very windy. I absolutely hate these extreme weather conditions! >_<

Most importantly, school. School is the most dominating thing in my life right now, so it is very fitting for me to say that it is the most important. Let's divide it with subjects.

P.E. This is the sole thing that is causing me physical pain at the moment. I am sore almost everyday because the class last for an hour and a half, but is fortunately only on every other school day.

Psychology I seriously did not know what I would be dealing with this class. Everyone is seriously mature (everyone's a senior in that class), but I still love it because it is interesting and fun. There's also this sophomore dude (he's considered a "bad boy") who always says hi to me. I politely, always say hello back, because I do not exactly want to be associated with him.

Spanish Quite an educational class (all the classes are, it's just that this feels the most educational). Not that much to it. But today we got a foreign exchange student from Chile, which is pretty exciting.

Geometry Ok. This is the most boring class of all. I literally fall asleep with my eyes open because that is the only way that I can listen-ish to the lecture.

Biology I actually like this class. I have to pay attention alot though, but it's really fun to be in it. I guess it's the people in the class including the teacher. He makes funny voice imitations of stereotypical dumb people, to mock us.

English Another boring class. But, I kinda like it better than the other boring classes because everyone's a freshman there.

I actually have friends now too. I had a friend before them, but I found her true colors, and I tell you, those colors are dull. Let's see. Pep rally, during school in nutrition break (which I now find pretty useful compared how ridiculous I thought it was before). This is the week where I am trying to avoid her (after last week's Sprite "accidentally" spilling in my shirt? Oh, H-E- double hockey sticks NO.). The last seat in the stadium is right next to her, unfortunately. I sit. Then, the rally organizers say that there are special notes that might be under my sitting spot that I can turn in to them to get a random prize. Well, what do I know? There IS an orange piece of paper under me. Apparently, she says, "I'll come with you," I think, "Whatever." She comes, I get the $10 Jamba Juice giftcard. Then, she says, "We should split it." In my head I say, why the HECK should I?! I say, "No." She persists. We then argue about if we should split it. I get really sick of the argument, her, and don't care about the dang (I am censoring myself) card. I leave the scene. I never see her again, for she is the most selfish and distrustful person I have ever met. I pass her occasionally, but I ignore. That is what she gets. Besides that, I now have nice friends that are quite girly and optimistic. It's ok though, since they are better than most people I have met before.

Let's go along with my new love, a (this is long) massive multiplayer online player game, called Perfect World. Here's a screenshot of me in-game. It is quite fun. You all should join, so we can chat there and play and stuff. Well that is it for now. Hopefully I will come and write some more, for my time (1 hour) is up.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://mo-chan-inthemiddleofnowhere.blogspot.com/2008/10/super-new-update-gasp.html' title='Super New Update! Random: I was signing up for the retake, when I saw that one of the P.E. teachers spelled tread without an a (tred, LOL) ...or is that the right way? Ok, back to the topic; I did pass. I then had to run a mile next period. I was so tired, that in 3rd period, someone commented that I was "as red as a cherry bomb", whatever that is. I was also fanning myself with a notebook that whole period, so it was REALLY tiring.

The day went through smoothly; my knees were somewhat merciful today, so they let me use them. As for Saturday, it was pretty crazy. I went to Fremont, then went to Milpitas where my cousin had her party. The theme was purple zebra stripes, but of course, I didn't know. My other cousins who came didn't know either, so I wasn't all alone with my anti-theme clothing. One of my cousins claimed that, "purple is just a hype color." Hype, if you didn't know already, means something that is highly regarded, but dies away fast. The party got crazier as more people came, especially when my gay cousin came. He was basically the life of the party. This other guy came too; I thought he was 15, but he was really 18, and he was a really talented person. He could play the guitar and sing well, and dance. One of my cousins wanted to hook me up with him, but I said no. I also saw the cake they had, which was really good. It looked really weird, because it was purple, and had weird brown crosses across it. It was supposed to be black, and they were supposed to be zebra stripes. Well the cake was good, but some claimed it was too sweet. Everything I like seems to be too sweet. Jeez.

I'm so excited because one of my games are coming in through the mail. Yay~ It's called Perfect World, and it's an MMORPG (Multi Player Online Role Playing Game). I felt like adding this paragraph about it because I can't wait until it's here~ I ordered it through the internet and it will come in a cd instead of me downloading it on my computer, because my internet is too slow to download anything that big of a file size (around 2 gigs). It's a game based on Chinese mythology, and you get to wear alot of cool asian clothing. There's a fashion mode, where you can create your own clothes and wear it over your armor. *Sigh* I can't wait to play it! >.<

Well, that's it for today. Oh and I almost forgot; You guys can send me questions and what not about what's happening here through my gmail email, which I can only check on Wii Internet Channel, so I'm not going to reply through there (try typing through a remote that only types one letter per 3 seconds). I hope you people have a nice day, and until next post! =3

Some Randomness & More

I remember when 9/11 happened. I was sitting in my house in the Philippines, wondering why the heck my mom and aunt were watching tv, interrupting my cartoons, watching a building fall down over and over again. They looked pretty sad, but I didn't know. No one was crying or anything. Just sad. But I was curious.

ANYWAY, I just wanted to add that paragraph over there to commemorate 9/11. Ok, well today was a pretty alright day on Thursday. I failed my 10 minute treading test for P.E. I kind of expected it, I knew I couldn't stay afloat on water for that long without touching the walls for support, so I had to hold on to the wall to stay breathing in the air. I obviously did not want drown, for that would be VERY embarrassing. The bright side was that I was able to swim for 8 minutes straight with very little help from shallow floors and walls. And, my body was able to take the fatigue from the swimming today. Yay, me!

Yesterday I joined like 4 clubs. I joined the D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself; I'm sure you knew that) club, where you get to make jewelry and such. I thought it was kinda cool and alot of stuff they make are really cute, so I wanted to join. Next, I joined the bracelet club, which kind of like the D.I.Y. club, except that the club mainly focuses on the making of bracelets. I also joined the anime club, and it's obvious that I joined, so I won't mention why I do wanted to join. I also joined the Freshman Float club, which is WAY under-participated (if that is a word). I felt kinda bad, plus my "friend" made me, and I thought it would be interesting.

Well, today was nothing special. Did a few experiments in Psychology; learned stuff in Geometry; wrote in English. Today is also the football game at my school. I can't believe that this town is SO small (well, small in my opinion) that the football players have to go to a non-home game, which is 3 hours away from here. I heard that NO ONE is coming to root for our side. Well that's understandable. My psychology teacher asked us today, "Anyone going to the football game? C'mon, no school spirit?" No one raised their hands. One asked "Are you going?" My teacher said no way. Btw, this is kind of random, but while I was riding the bus I saw this house with TRANSPARENT garage doors. They were the blurred kind, but c'mon, it was TRANSPARENT. How many houses have YOU seen that have transparent garage doors? An also random happening today was that I was just sitting down very quietly, then this dude comes out of nowhere, kicking his backpack through the pathway, then he just starts to randomly dance like all hip-hop-ish. Well that's just some random stuff that you probably don't have to know.

Oh, AND, I'm coming to Fremont THIS weekend. I have no idea why, but we just decided to come. So come see me you see 2 cars at my house, if you want. Well that's it for now, I'm going to go and eat/watch Forbidden Kingdom again. Until the next post!

Drastic Climate Change

Wow. The people who live here weren't lying when they said that the weather here was extreme. As in SUPER hot during spring and summer, and SUPER cold during fall and winter. Like for example, yesterday. I wore a t-shirt and shorts, expecting that the heat from last week would continue this week. Well, I was wrong. I should watch the weather news more often. I even had to go swimming that day for P.E., AND I forgot my towel. Talk about a cold day. Well today I wore warm clothes, so I'm fine now. I did see the weather forecast today, and it's expected that the weather will get warm next week (In your terms, HOT). The weather here is just crazy. It's alternates from hot and cold. I hope this doesn't go on through fall.

Well I now have no hope of getting any better at swimming. I was EXTREMELY exhausted yesterday, that when I got out of the pool, my knees kept wobbling, so I had to stiffen my legs in order to walk. I couldn't even move my hands side to side because it was so sore. Swimming is the worst sport ever, for me anyhow. And I will never ever swim again, except if it's for fun.

Today at English, this guy commented me while I was typing at the library when the librarian was teaching us how to use the catalog. He said I typed really fast. That's nice, I guess. Also, this dude was telling this other guy from my English class that he was mad at him while walking backwards. He was right in front of me and he said that he really wasn't mad at him and that he was just joking around. Guys are so weird sometimes. I just smiled and nodded, as if I knew who he was talking about. That's just a random happening today.

Also, at lunch, I visited this club meeting with my acquaintance, Kasey. I do not consider her as a friend since she constantly ditches me, and I don't like her that much anyway, and she's kind of mean sometimes. It was the green team club and it's about environmentalists helping our school. I learned that they had a "man, and he's back" kind of dude who keeps stealing their recyclables and such. I know I'm not joining, because they make you go to places during weekends, and I know I can't go to those, so I'm not joining. I might join the knitting club though. It sounds relaxing, and it wouldn't hurt to make a couple of mittens, scarves, and hats for myself.

Oh, and at psychology, my teacher did this experiment where a half of the class stays outside (I was in that half) while the other half is told to memorize these 30 words in 30 seconds for fun. When we got inside, we had to do the same, but he said that if we got all 30 right, we get a lot of points for it, enough to make up a failed test. His hypothesis of our group getting more of the words didn't come true. Also, 3/4 of the class wrote the words beer, marijuana, and tequila, which were also listed on the list of 30 words. I was one of those people, unfortunately.

Well I'm going to go now. I hope that people actually read this, and it doesn't hurt to comment, so go ahead and do it. It makes me happy. Well peace and love; until the next post.

Update!

Sorry for not updating in so long. I just don't get enough motivation to post here anymore. You people should seriously COMMENT because I always feel like there's no one reading, therefore there is no point in posting. And YES, I believe you can comment even if you don't have an account here in blogger or google. I'll have to check that out later.

I'm not even supposed to be up right now, so be thankful that I feel obligated to write. I even sneaked in the laptop to do this. As for updates, I've changed my template, to match the new season, which is fall. Well, it doesn't really match, but I think fall is associated with warm colors like brown. I got it from giselejaquenod.com/ar , a really nice site where they sell cute stuff like mugs (I wish I could get one, my parents don't like using their credit cards to buy stuff online) and have free templates.

Well now I'll talk about life. I try to keep this in chronological order starting from the last time I update.
School's been boring, with the same routine every week. Notice that I didn't say every day because on Mondays it's a minimum day and I have alternating periods the rest of the week. This weekend, I basically stayed home except for church, which was today. Yesterday, I played Rappelz alot and even chatted to some of you who may or may not be even reading this blog. We had a small barbecue too. There was this one interesting that happened though. I was sitting on the computer chatting with Gloria when my brother came by and offered me a skewer of grilled shrimp. For some odd reason, he tried to tickle my ear with one of the shrimp's tails to get me to stop using the computer, then guess what? I wonder what the heck he is trying to do, so I turn my head around, then BAM! More like squish, actually. The end of the skewer pokes my eye. Fortunately, it pokes the very corner of my eye, not hitting the eyeball. So if I turned around any further, my right eye could have been blinded forever, or someting like that. Thank God that that didn't happen. So if someone is trying to tickle your ear with a skewered grilled shrimp's tail, be careful, you never know if someting like waht happened to me will happen to you.

I should start describing stuff that relates to school because nothing much happened today, and I need a filler. Well here it is. The library at my school is about 3 times the size of Centerville's Library. There's even couches in there, and separate rooms for computers and separate sections for people who are studying. Also, I've realized that there is 50% of seniors in my psychology class ( I found out when it was the day where every senior was wearing their "I'm a senior" shirt), 25% juniors, 20% sophomores, and 5% freshmen. I fill up the 1.5% in the freshmen section. Actually there isn't anymore to talk about school, so I'll stop that topic here.

Ok I lied. Something did happen today, I just forgot. Today, after going to church, we went to the SMALLEST farmer's market in the world. There were probably only 8 to 10 stalls of veggies and other stuff there. I felt kinda sorry for the people who were selling the stuff and the people who lived here. People probably have to drive 35 minutes away from here to Sacramento to visit a REAL farmer's market. So sad. I mean this town is so boring and empty, that people who were born here and were raised here think so too. I kind of eavesdropped during P.E. , and I happened to hear this girl talk about how this town was boring. She even added that people who live here paint on rocks for fun, which was kind of funny, considering the fact that there ARE alot of painted rocks around the fields here. I heard from this one girl in English that going to Target on a Friday night was the best. Then, this guy from Florida, who just moved in town (he probably feels the same pain I'm feeling), says, "Are you serious? Is that what the cool kids in this school do around here?" That kind of made me laugh, since that is probably true. Poor kids. I feel so sorry for them. They have to get their parents to drive 20 minutes to go to the nearest mall and hang out. No wonder they choose Target, which is only 5 minutes away.

Well I have to go now. I'm getting really tired and I have school tomorrow. By the way, I'm visiting Fremont again around the 20th, so visit me if you wanna see me. Good night, or whatever time of day it is when you're reading this, and I hope you have a nice week. Over and out!

Dull Days

Well, I've been lazy so I stopped posting for a while. Anyway, as you can see from the title, yes, it has been very dull lately. Days just go on and on, and on, and this heat just makes it seem worse. There is a heat wave at the moment, and it will probably (thank god) end around Friday. Tomorrow, it's supposed to be 106 degrees tomorrow, but I'm swimming tomorrow which is good and bad because I'm bad at it and will probably be placed in coaching again.

I almost never do my homework at home nowadays because I get to do my homework during a free period, which lasts for about an hour and a half. But I did do my homework today for psychology. I have to make a 6 to 12 page character analysis on the characters of the movie Ever After (sorry couldn't italicize it). I started it on today, but it's due next Wednesday. Geometry is so weird. I honestly don't like it that much (well I never liked math anyway), but I can understand it; I just need to stop thinking that it's difficult and scary. Biology. 90% of the whole class are all sophomores. I feel so short and noob-ish whenever I'm in that class. Funny thing is that I always finish my work fastest, and a lot of them ask me for help. Right now, English is my favorite subject. I have a sarcastic and funny kind of teacher, which makes the class more enjoyable. And all of the people in the class are freshmen, so I don't feel short or anything there, so I'm okay. People actually comment on my drawings and doodles (all showed-off in the front of my binder) and also comment on my handwriting (I don't know why). When I go home, I take the bus. I have to wait like 15 minutes (there are so many stops) until it drops me off at my stop. Usually, the neighbor's oldest daughter (junior, most likely 16 years old) and I chat a bit walking to our houses.

For other events, this Friday, I will be going to Fremont (yay =3). I will be staying there until I think Sunday or Monday, so come visit me if you want. If you see no cars in sight of my driveway, then I'm probably not there, because I'm going to Great America on Saturday. Well that's it for now; I will try to update more often, but that's very hard to do, because I feel much more tired nowadays. My days start usually at 5:30 A.M. and end at 9 P.M. now. Well adios!

2nd Monday

Okay. Well during the rest of the week I got really lazy, so I stopped posting for a while. Well now I'm posting, so I'll fill you up with updates. Well this weekend, I went camping. On Friday, a bunch of my relatives came to my house, then all left (including me) to go to the campsite. I was just supposed to eat there, then go back home, then go to bed there, then come back to the campsite. But we all started doubting that possibility when we went through (gasp) "Rattlesnake Road". Rattlesnake Road truly lives up to its name. It's the most windiest, most "I'm- going- to- throw- up- if- we- don't- pull- over" kind of road I've ever been through. We reached the campsite, and we did eat, but it was too dark to go back home (there are many dangers going through a road called "Rattlesnake Road" at night). So without any kind of preparations for the trip, I had to sleep over there, but luckily we had brought a tent. My cousin Jessica let me borrow her clothes to sleep in, so it was all good. The next day, my cousins Aster, Shaq, and Nate went to the beach by the lake (the campsite was like half a mile away from it). Me, my brother, and my other cousin Ria went after. We started making forts (we split into 3 teams) so that we could eventually attack them later. Well we didn't, but it was ok. The rest of the day, I ate and sat around and talked, then we had to leave. Well the rest of that day was alright, I spent a nice amount of time playing Rappelz, a new MMORPG (Multi-Player Online Role Playing Game; yeah that's long). The next day, all of the people who were camping all went to our house and swam and ate. It was really fun. Well the next day, which is today, I went to school. Nothing exciting happened today, except that I realized my "friend" may be just using me. Well I will go on a potential good friend hunt. Anyway, that's it for now. Bye.

The 3rd Day...

OMG I feel so tired since I woke up at 5:30 A.M. today (-_-)... How? I only had 3 periods today and they were about 2 hours long. Anyway, I had a pretty ok day today. P.E. was boring; all we did was get our P.E. clothes and walk out of campus to check out the community pool. I had Spanish next which was pretty fun; I got a Spanish name which was Marisol because I wanted a name that kind of sounded like mine. I also actually made someone laugh in that class, which is surprising to me, and actually talked to some people there (I started drawing and BAM all attention went to me). Then I had biology and finally realized that I'm like the only freshman in that class (!). That class seems really complicated to, because we had to take "Cornell Notes", which is a way of writing notes. I also have to make a family tree by the end of the week.

The school is really rich too. There's a student store in campus and the lunches have a really wide variety of food. They even sell food outside of the cafeteria. There's probably more rich-school features there that I haven't mentioned, but hopefully I do find those. The school's sports program is pretty good, I'm guessing. I mean I see like trophies and banners, and alot of them say "The State's #1 team" or something like that. Well that's about it for today. BYE. PEACE.

The First Day Of School (dun dun dun...)

Overall my day was just ok, but if you looked at the negative points it will sound bad. So I'll start with that. Let's see... well I got on the bus, which wasn't bad because the bus was really clean and all, but about 10 minutes there, I totally realized that I forgot my schedule, locker number and combination at home! I panicked for like a moment, but solved it by deciding to go into the office and asking them for the stuff I forgot. I get to school carrying 4 textbooks (that's why I needed my locker # and combination) walking around the campus looking for an adult to help me. I founded one eventually, and they directed me to the counseling office. I look around and ask, and find a LONG line (bad for my back and arms, which were carrying around 20 pounds of things) where people are also asking for new schedules. I eventually get it, so I try to find a way to find where my locker is. Well the bell rang, so I had to run to the gym where "Life Fitness" was being held, or P.E. in your terms, but I had to find out if it was already 2nd period because I have no 1st period making me have only 6 periods (the school's schedule is SO complicated; apparently on Mondays there was no 1st period).

P.E. was ok, but I found out that the first unit we had to do was swimming. And there are NO swimming pools in that school, so I assumed there would not be a swimming unit, but I guess we'll have to go to a different place to do that. Next was psychology. I got there like a minute late because the map they gave me to get to classes was confusing (or my sense of direction is just horrible). The class was pretty good; the teacher was the kind of person who enjoyed embarrassing their students, and I thought he was quite humorous. There was a majority of seniors and juniors in that class and only like 3 freshman (I'm one of them). By the end of class someone's phone went off and they had to write an apology letter (direct quote from teacher: "It has to be 80% kiss-up, 10% kissing up to my kids, and 10% sorry") and recite to the class. It was pretty funny.

After that period, I had to walk all the way across the school to Spanish. Spanish seemed like a good class; the teacher was alright too. Nothing interesting really happened so I'll just be moving on. After, there was a nutrition break, and during that, I had to find out my locker # and combination. I got it after waiting for awhile, then that was over and I went to Geometry. The teacher was... well the pretty kind of teacher, but I could tell she was old (well she kind of stated it in her syllabus). I thought her clothes matched her really well (she wore a sun dress and heels). She gave us free binders and such, and it was over.

Next, I ate a lunch of lumpia (it's like an egg roll, except thinner and with meat) and rice and some lemon-lime Gatorade. I sat by this dude who was a loner, like me. While I ate, some girl came out of nowhere and started talking to me. Apparently, she was also new and didn't know anyone (except one person, who was her neighbor). We talked for a while; I asked her if she knew what anime was, and she didn't (-_-). Unfortunately, she only has like one class that was the same, which was P.E. , except hers was in 5th period. After, I went to biology (there was an 11th grader in there o.o), which was held in the SMALLEST room in the school. It was all ok there, then I went to advanced English. There was only 20 kids in that class, and the teacher was ok too.

Okay, now here comes the interesting part. After, I went to where the buses were, and I looked for route 2 (the morning bus guy told me the driver's name was Donna; his name was Stan). But, all the buses did not have anyone name Donna, and route 2 did not go to my stop. I had to go to route 1 and ask them if they had it. I told them "Archers and Platt" and they let me in. About 10 minutes later, I have to go down, but the street name was Archers and PARK. I immediately panicked and decided to walk until I find Archers and Platt. I go uphill to find a dead end, then had to go back downhill and walked and walked. Eventually I did find the street (THANK GOD) and I came home all sweaty (it was so hot; that's why there wasn't really a lot of time to be scared along the way) and tanned.

*Sigh* Well that's it for today. Hopefully, I have a MUCH better day tomorrow.

The Night Before The First Day Of School >.<

Ok. I admit. I am TERRIFIED. Tomorrow is the first day of school. Yeah I know my vacation was cut off pretty early and that I was not able to contact you all well. So, I will first explain why I could not contact you.

The last time I was on the internet was actually through Wii Internet (my brother got it), but I couldn't chat through that, or email you (c'mon, I only have a remote to type with). Before that, I was on the internet in my cousin's house. Well, we got rid of the dial-up, which is GREAT (we found out we could do that), and got DSL. BUT, we were not allowed to go on because my idiotic brother somehow lost the Wireless USB Internet thing you stick in your computer, which I had bought. About 3 weeks later (or maybe more), I found it. So now we can use it. Yay! =D

Anyhow, I went to freshman orientation on Friday, and boy, the kids there were TALL. I mean, I had to look up at people to talk to them, which I rarely did. And there was also a tour, and this dude kept stepping on the back of my flip-flops, until it eventually came off. He said sorry, so it was all good. On the tour, we passed by the parking lot, and I saw a pink bug with a car-sized tiara on top of it. That was WIERD. Besides that, I saw really NICE cars there, like the EXPENSIVE kind. And there was ALOT of 'em. Again on the tour, I noticed that the campus was REALLY big. And there was more of it under construction. I also had to go to the library, which was like three times bigger than Centerville's Library, to pick up like 4 textbooks. The line was LONG to check out the books, and people were cutting, and I even almost got into a fight with a couple of parents, who blamed me for cutting them, but really, the guys in front of them cut in front of me, making it seem like I did cut them. Also, I got a locker buddy who I don't know, who's a sophomore because I don't know who anyone is anyway.

Well I must go NOW, so I'll make a post about the first day of school tomorrow. Good night. Wish me luck on whatever happens then... okay (?). >.< Bye.

Rawr.

I have not been on in a really long time...sorry, again. Well I went to Fremont at the 25th to 27th so sorry if you did not know because I bet you guys wanted to see me then... well I'm leaving tomorrow in the afternoon so you may have a chance if you come earlier. Anyway, there's about 2 and half weeks till school starts, so I'm kinda excited and nervous at the same time... I'm gonna go school shopping soon and I'm going to come back to Fremont again at around August 8 for a family camping trip. At August 18th, I'm going to go again to another camping trip with my other family at where I live (poor them, 2 hours drive).

Well, nothing's been going on, I'm planning to get another haircut soon hopefully because I'm tired of my long hair (though no one seems to think so). I'm almost done beating Final Fantasy XII on the PS2 (well what do you think I've been doing all this time?!), so I 'm looking forward to that...
Oh and I also kinda bruised my left foot boat paddling on Saturday when I went to Almaden Lake... so I'm kinda limping a little trying to make sure I don't get hurt there using it.

Oh and I saw my classes for school. Psychology, Biology, Geometry, Spanish I, Advanced English, and Life Fitness.

Well that's about it for now. I'll try to get more pictures of my house and other stuff. Until then, Adios!

Hi hi! OMG. I have not been on in FOREVER. Sorry, something happened with the phone line and laptop usage, so I couldn't go on as much. I wrote this post at the town library (where the internet is SUPER DUPER fast). Sorry if it seemed like I was neglecting you guys ._. , well I wasn't trying to... I also lost some phone numbers (with all of those scraps of paper in my backpack... I thought it was all junk and recycled them). Unfortunately, I don't know if I've stated this before, but school here starts at around the first to two weeks of August...so you guys will have a longer vacation than I do...sucks for me huh? Anyhow, nothing's been happening lately; thank god the coyotes aren't terrorizing us as much (or are they?) ; and no, I have NOT made any new friends (why would I want to? I'm too lazy and busy playing my video games for that) here. I will probably not go on after another week or two (maybe three...it's hard to keep track of time nowadays)... so ciao for now!

1st Official Day in New House

Ok. Ok. Yesterday I woke up pretty early to get ready to drive to El Dorado Hills. After 2 hours, we finally reached it. It was as SUPER hot yesterday, and still is. I mean, last night, I couldn't go to bed (which resulted me in sleeping at 3AM playing Harvest Moon) and the windows were open. Oh, and you know how Sophie has deer in her backyard? Well my backyard has coyotes. A mommy coyote and her four coys (babies). Oh and not to mention the racoons. And skunks and turkeys and other wild insects that thrive in the wilderness. Anyhow, we got a slingshot to try and scare them, but we switched to a shiny new air gun. And you know how salt's used to keep away snails? Well pepper's used for coyotes.

Well, nothing much is happening here. To waste time, all I do is play Harvest moon, try to play songs on the piano, eat, play the wii/ps2/gamecube, watch tv, and sleep (which is extremely difficult to do because it is SO hot here). My brother hogs the internet most of the time, so it's hard to to get on. Well, I'm gonna go look at Harvest Moon cheats on the web. Sayonara for now!

Nice Lyrics

Blah. I got news. Let's go with the bad news first. First of all, I am leaving TOMORROW. So I probably won't be able to chat much since I'm packing everything up. Oh, and I CAN'T go to the dance, because I'll be leaving immediately tomorrow. Sorry, guys. I guess I won't be seeing you all in a very long time. The good news? I am coming back around the 28th because of a family party. So if you guys wanna visit around that time, you can (just let me know when you're coming, I'll have more details on exactly when I'm coming). I'm sorry about the bad news though, because I know a lot of you wanted me to go to the dance.

On my previous post, I wrote that I would put up pics, so here they are:

Pics from my promotion:

Me, smiling with my certificate. My dad took a picture, even though I was posing for the proffessional photographer.

From Left to Right: Michaela, Kristina, Molly, and me.
We were just posing.

From top left: Me, Stephanie, Gloria (bottom left), Michaela, Nikki.
Posing again.

After promotion, the family left for Brandon's promotion.

Pics from Brandon's (or Axel, my brother) promotion:

From Top to bottom, going left: My dad, Shiana (little half-sister), Grandma, Jessica, Me, Mylynne, Brandon, Shaylen (my older little half-sister).
Posing.

My little half-sister, Shiana. I was trying to take a picture of her smiling, but it looks like I failed.

After that, We went to the Italian restaurant, which was in some unknown town (until now) called Campbell. It was about 8:30 P.M. The walls were all covered with random pictures, and there are so many walkways in there. I even got lost trying to go back from the bathroom to the table.

Pics at the restaurant:

Left to right: Me, Mylynne, Brandon
Me (eating the Fettuccine Supremo and Chicken Marsala) : "Oh my god, Mylynne, why did you get so much spaghetti? I wanted some..."
Mylynne (eating the spaghetti): "Oh well, deal with it, I'm still going to eat it."
Brandon (also eating the spaghetti): "Ugh."
NOTE: I just made these dialogues up.

There was really yummy pistachio gelatto (which, btw, has twice the sugar as ice cream) for dessert. They served it with cute little cones, about as tall as your pinky, and weren't very wide. We left the restaurant at about 10 PM, but we had to drop off my cousins at Milpitas, which took a long time. We reached Fremont at around 11:30 PM; I went to bed at around 12 (WHICH IS WHY I WAS SO TIRED AT SCHOOL, if you didn't already know).

Well that's it for now. I'll try to update soon, and hopefully the internet at El Dorado Hills won't be bad (I'll try to go to the library, which has DSL). Ciao for now!

1st Post

Blah. Made the blog today so I don't have to make it after I move in my new house (I heard that I'm going to get dial-up, which is VERY slow, because the certain county I'm moving into does NOT have DSL available, AND, I'm going to have to wait for about 10 more months until the contract with dial-up ends, UNLESS the county gets DSL.).

Anyhow, tomorrow's promotion...bought a dress at Forever 21 with Gloria (the dress she got broke! It was one of the straps...). I'll put up pics of it, with me wearing it, since one of my family members will most likely take a picture of me in it. Tomorrow's gonna be a busy day... My cousins Mylynne, Jessica, and Nate will be coming with my Auntie Marivel... I asked my female cousins to come at 2 so that they could do my hair. And after my promotion, it's going to be my brother's promotion, so I better get ready today...
